If you need real service and a reliable automotive business, go elsewhere. We are, now.

THEY HAVE NEW MANAGEMENT! The previous people that ran the shop were totally inept. The current guys are fast, efficient, and have work piled high. I almost didn't want to write this review, as I feel it is the best little secret in town, yet at the same time I didn't want anyone thinking ill of them. Give them a try~they also have towing available.

Best shop in the valley! Quality work, great service! The guys running the shop now are amazing. I was in a pinch and needed new catalytic converters put on my car asap. These guys got my car in right away. They didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. The cost was half of what I was quoted anywhere else and they got me a loaner car so I could get to work while they had my car. On top of that, their work is incredible! If you need work done, this is the place to go!

Skip them. As of 2013 they're under new management with no sense of customer service. Twice in one week they told they'd be open during regular business hours so we could pick up a vehicle (which they had to repair twice), and they weren't there, causing us a great deal of inconvenience, time, and money. They don't return phone calls, and they treat the business like it's a casual hobby--they'll get to you when they get to you.

Sad. Used to be a great place. They're tarnishing old Mr. Burruss's reputation.

The mechanics here do a good job and pass savings on to their clients.

Edit: My husband previously worked there, with the old management (tim) and left due to all the previous complaints. This past year, we have taken two of our vehicles there and had them repaired more than efficiently. They do not push parts, charge a very fair price, and the shop is now run by Marines. If you love America, you'll take your car to Burris.

My eighteen-year-old had his car break down near Providence and the tow truck took it to Burruss. Appalling customer service! They couldn't be bothered to do diagnostics on it the first day and said they would call us the next morning. My husband ended up calling twice the next day at 11:30 am and 4 pm, getting put off both times. Then Tim finally said he "thought" it was the timing belt but wouldn't finish diagnostic testing until Monday. Seriously?! Who has to wait 5 days just for a simple diagnostic and estimate, let alone how long they would have taken to actually fix the car. We ended up paying to have it towed to our mechanic in Salt Lake.
